Nearly 5000 Armenian military servicemen "disappeared" - preparations for anti-Pashinyan protests

The Azerbaijani Army continues successful counter-offensive operations, AzVision.az reports.

During the past13 days, Azerbaijani troops continued to inflict heavy blows on the Armenian military amid ongoing border clashes which resulted in the liberation of some occupied territories. To date, the Armenian side has suffered numerous casualties and lost hundreds of military equipment.

Official Yerevan tries to hide the real numbers from the public as much as possible. The information shared on social media by the Armenian users shows that the death toll is many times higher than the officially announced figures.

Some Armenian social media users claim that around 5,000 military officers and soldiers "disappeared" in the line of contact in Armenia. Until today, there is no information about those military servicemen.

Armenian citizens are accusing the Defense Ministry of hiding the real losses and revealed Yerevan's lies by sharing photos of their relatives who were forcibly sent to the war against Azerbaijan and are reported missing. This once again confirms that Armenia and its military forces are involved in the battles against the Azerbaijani army in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.

Parents and relatives of the Armenian soldiers and even officers on the frontline cannot find their names on the list of dead or wounded. The military units did not provide them with any information. This also confirms the fact that the Armenian military leadership hides the real number of losses. There are many casualties not only among soldiers but also among officers.

Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan admitted that there are a lot of social network posts about the fate of the country’s military servicemen.

“Some citizens are now posting photos of their children on social media to help find them. The ongoing fighting in the conflict zone makes it difficult to find the bodies of those killed. Unlike the first [Karabakh] war and the April 2016 battles, the ongoing war is completely different, it is a nightmare. Therefore, we apologize and ask you [citizens] to be understanding,” Hovhannisyan said.

The spokesman’s aforesaid once again confirms that Armenia is suffering heavy military losses.

Our monitoring on social networks show the families of Armenians, who were forcibly sent to war, are in fear and panic. The fact that the issue of casualties have become relevant, paves the way for eruption of new anti-Pashinyan protests by soldiers’ mothers and the whole society. There are even proposals in this regard. It is not ruled out that mass protests against the defeated Pashinyan government will begin in Armenia in the coming days.
